In AcroYoga Therapeutics, we'll explore the restorative elements of Therapeutic Flying and Thai Bodywork using the tools of receptivity, gravity, sensitivity, and loving kindness to bring balance, trust and connection to giver and receiver. We'll guide you through proper physical techniques of partner poses that will allow you to practice confidently and with ease. Aligning with the trees yoga: (Morning Yoga)

This 90 minute class is designed to awaken the physical body, connect you to your inner body and get you prepared to glide into your day feeling great and empowered as a creator. This is a Vinyasa style class that will get you moving, relieve the stresses or anxieties, and shake out any of the blockages you may be having. We will begin with morning pranayama and end with a centering meditation. Prepare for asanas that lift you into your day and leave you feeling great. This is a all levels class. Just bring your smile and willingness to move.

Sunset in the Forest Yoga: (Evening yoga)

Wind down your day with this 90 minute Hatha based yoga class . This class focuses on breath, inner focus, alignment and slowing down the body and the spinning of the mind. Clearing away all that you unknowingly accumulated in your day. Release it all and go into your evening, as the sun sets over the horizon of the forest.

Creative Classes
Guided Group Paint Sesh
Instructor: Julie Young
Join us in a two hour painting class where visual artist Julie Young will guide you step by step in creating your own masterpiece to take home with you. We will be unified in our intention of painting the same piece (which will be determined closer to the retreat dates), but with our own unique personality in it. You will learn techniques that will guide you in new ways of blending color, creating shapes and figures, and how to layer back grounds and foreground with acrylic paint. Julie makes acrylic painting relaxing and fun for all experience levels, and is excited to bring you, your brush, and our new friends closer together through creating something beautiful.

Abstract Intuitive Painting- “Let it Flow”

Often in life we may find blockages, whether it is the stress that we've allowed ourselves to feel from work, the speeding thoughts that may cross our minds, or even a “creative block” that most artists have experienced from time to time. In this class we will be exploring new and fun ways to manipulate our paint using brushes, sponges, and non traditional tools that will spark fresh and fluid creations. The actions that we take in the creation process will allow ourselves to let go of the control of creation, letting the tools, mediums, and music to guide us, and encourage to hold onto the free flowing energy that runs through us. This workshop will bring knowledge of processes that will be able to be used at home in your next painting, or as a tactic to relieve stress and relax after a long day while creating something beautiful.

Society often impresses upon us the ideal image of a person, so that we strive to have that body image. However, everyone has different beautiful body shapes and sizes. In this workshop, attendees are encouraged and advised on the importance of physical activity and self care in their lives; and the impact that these practices have on their overall health and emotional well-being. Jen will also be offering to lead a nature hike to give attendees an opportunity to engage in physical activity and enjoy the beautiful surroundings they are immersed in.

Many people have heard of the benefits of meditation, but fail to start to utilize the practice in their own life due to fear of “doing it wrong”. This workshop will introduce and familiarize you with the practice of meditation and how you can implement it in your own life. Chris Morphis will also lead a guided meditation for everyone to participate in; thus giving all attendees the opportunity to initiate their practice with us at the retreat.
